COMET/Acoustics:
COMET/Acoustics
is a computational simulation tool for vibroacoustic prediction, design
improvement, and optimisation. It models sound fields in air, fluid,
solid, and elastic-porous mediums. COMET is used worldwide for the solution
of a wide variety of vibroacoustic problems in automotive, aerospace,
construction equipment, consumer products and other industries. COMET
main modules are:
-
BEAT
(Boundary Element Analysis Tool): Exterior/Interior noise radiation
analysis based on the Boundary Element Method.
-
SoRT
(Source Reconstruction Technique): Inverse acoustics (or Holography)
based on the BEM.
-
SAFE
(Structural Acoustic Foam Engineering): Acoustic analysis of acoustic,
structural and elasto-porous mediums based on the Finite Element
Method.
-
TRIM
(Transfer Impedance Method): Rapid analytical tool to calculate
complex multi-layered systems. It features optimisation tools
and calculation of complex foam material properties.
-
EnFlow - NEW!!
(Energy Finite Element Analysis - EFEA): An innovative tool
to predict high frequency vibro-acoustics via EFEA.
First commercial software of this type. Sponsored by NASA.
